What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by the browser. The website may also use similar technologies, such as localStorage and sessionStorage. Necessary tools support requested functions, security and storage of choices; analytics tools measure use of the website; marketing tools attribute campaigns or support advertising. Necessary tools may be used without consent when they are strictly necessary, while analytics and marketing remain disabled until you make a positive choice.

Essential cookies
The website uses localStorage otello:consent:v4 to remember the authorised categories, version and expiry of your choice for six calendar months. When you save, reject, close or withdraw a choice, it sends the server a receipt containing random identifiers, policy versions, categories, action, language and dates. The receipt contains no raw IP, email, telephone number, URL, referrer or form data and is retained for 24 months from receipt. The demo confirmation otello:demo-booking-confirmation:v1 remains in sessionStorage until it is first read or the session ends. The otello_locale cookie lasts 365 days and is set only when the language selector is available and you choose a language. These tools are not used for advertising. The browser also sends the technical data required by Vercel to deliver and protect the pages.

Analytics cookies
Google Analytics 4 is loaded through Google Tag Manager GTM-5VZ4MTJK only after Analytics consent. It measures page views, navigation, visit source, device, browser, approximate geographic area and conversion events using pseudonymous online identifiers. At property level, GA4 is technically eligible for ads personalisation, but neither exports of GA4 data or audiences to Google Ads nor remarketing-specific data collection are currently active. Google Signals, User-ID and demographics are off. Customer Match, enhanced conversions and user-provided data are also off. User and event data in GA4 Explorations is retained for no more than 14 months to support annual seasonal comparisons; aggregate reports may remain available longer.

Marketing cookies
Google Ads and Conversion Linker are loaded through GTM only after Marketing consent. In the current configuration, they attribute campaigns and clicks and measure conversions. Activated Google tools may process cookie and online identifiers, attribution parameters and technical data transmitted by the browser, including the IP address. Ads personalisation, GA4 audience exports and remarketing are not active until configured separately; if activated, they remain subject to Marketing consent. UTM, gclid, gbraid and wbraid may be stored for the browser session and associated with a request or conversion. Customer Match, enhanced conversions and user-provided data remain off.

Third-party services
Google Ireland Limited and Google group companies receive technical GTM request data and, after the relevant consent, the Analytics or Ads data described in this policy. Google states that standard GTM HTTP logs are deleted within 14 days. Vercel provides hosting, CDN and technical functions. The demo page does not embed Google Calendar: after submission, Otello's server-side system uses Calendar and Meet to create the appointment. No third-party video, social widget or chatbot is loaded in this version of the website.

How to manage preferences
You can accept, reject or choose individual categories from the banner and change your choice at any time on the Cookie preferences page. Rejecting or closing the banner keeps only necessary tools. Your choice lasts six calendar months; a material change to purposes, providers or tools expires the previous choice. You can also delete cookies and storage through your browser settings.

Updates
We update this page before activating new tools or when purposes, recipients or durations change. Material changes that require consent cause the previous choice to expire. Previous versions are available on request by writing to info@otello.ai.
Your privacy, under your control
We use tools that are necessary for the site to work. With Analytics consent, Google Analytics 4 measures site use, navigation and conversions. Only if you choose Marketing may the Google tools used for Ads and Conversion Linker process cookie and online identifiers and technical data, including your IP address, to attribute campaigns and measure conversions. Ads personalisation and remarketing are used only when configured and require Marketing consent. Read the cookie policy and how Google uses data. You can reject or close the banner to continue with necessary tools only.
